West Grove – Westhoughton
About this installation…
This is a shared pattern imprinted concrete driveway between two next door neighbours, in Westhoughton. The occupants originally made contact with us a couple of years ago with ideas of what they wanted. We then worked with them to create their dream driveway, which was a little out of their budget. However they were happy to wait until they had saved up, and in August we were given the go-ahead to begin the work.
The driveway has a total of 140 square metres of pattern imprinted concrete, in a Old English Cobble pattern and Elitecrete Steadman Buff colour surface hardener. The front wall was knocked down, with a new pillar built to create a wider driveway access. A new front step was built on each property, and an acid stained circle pattern was added in the middle of the shared drive.
