When the homeowner at this local farm property in Ramsbottom contacted us about improving the front driveway at his home, we knew we had to help — he was practically a neighbour!
We sent our trusted designer Claire around to map out the exact look he wanted for the new drive — same shape, more practical and more impressive-looking.
The Front Driveway Upgrade
Working around the homeowner’s schedule, and the great British weather, we dug out the entire front driveway of over 10 metres in length. It was easily capable of accommodating three family cars, but a mismatch of cobble and Yorkstone paving made it impractical — half parking, half front patio.
By digging out the entire area, we could start fresh with a full-width front driveway, printed in the classic Old English Cobble pattern. The homeowner went for a grey colour with a dark release — a more modern look that still gelled nicely with the farm property.
Cleaning Up the Garden Area
Clean-up and removal of material is always included in all our projects. For this one, we also agreed to a deep clean of the homeowner’s existing Yorkstone patio paths that wrapped around the house into the garden.
The material was solid, and with a good clean using our specialist products, it looked brand new when we were finished.
